PIONEERING SATELLITE TECHNOLOGY THROUGH SUCCESS, ADVANCES AND PROGRESS.

The Centre for Satellite Technology Development (CSTD )is one of the seven (7) activity centres of the Nigerian National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA). NASRDA is an Agency under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology for the Republic of Nigeria and is tasked with the implementation of the Nation’s Space Policy and Programs. The policy provides for the creation of Activity Centers with different mandates geared towards holistic realization of the overall objective. Being one of the activity centers, the CSTD is an autonomous organization with clear set vision and mission statements.

CSTD VISION STATEMENT

The Centre shall attain continental leadership in satellite technology through the development of competence and capabilities in satellite subsystems as a tool for national growth, integrity and a huge contribution to the development of space technology for the benefit of mankind.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The centre shall achieve satellite technology competence so as to indigenously design, test and fabricate a satellite by 2018.
